Thank you Rachelle for creating this printable. Looking forward to using this for my boys, a nice, quiet activity for when they need a break from the heat. Thank you for the coaching on how to expand their experience by grouping colors.

Thanks…looking forward to using these with my preschoolers…they love trying to camouflage all over school and the coloring sheets will be a great connecting activity.

I sat with my just-turned-3-year-old to colour a page together. In spite of me telling her that the instructions said there’s no wrong way to do it, she insisted that I was doing it wrong unless I was using her lego texta… but she wouldn’t let me use her lego texta. OTHER than that, we loved them! They were nice, easy shapes for her as she is just starting to get hold of the idea of staying in the lines and the mindless colouring was rather cathartic for me after dealing with the whole “you must use my texta that I’m not going to let you use” thing at the start of our activity. One of my boys came and coloured with us as well. He’s not usually into colouring in, but quite enjoyed this activity and came and went as he pleased.

I am sure my grandson and I will have fun coloring these pages. I Like to T do Zentangle so I am hoping the pre printed areas will be good to practice designs. Thank you!

I received a copy of this printable when it was offered for free in exchange for a review. I wanted to make sure I tried it out thoroughly before writing a review. I have a wide range of children and tested this out with 5 of them plus myself. The age range was from 4 years old to 12 years old for the kids (I’m not giving up my age 🙂 ). The four and six year olds were not concerned at all about keeping it all in shades of one color. I pulled out four crayons in the color of their choosing, but they ended up pulling other crayons into the mix halfway through. Although they didn’t color the page ‘as instructed’ they did enjoy themselves. The eight year old found it a little tedious, but I think that is part of his nature. The 10 and 12 year old both enjoyed coloring theirs (although the 12 yo got inventive with the sheet when he realized that with four colors he couldn’t get the page so that no shape touched another shape with the same shade in it. I think the part all of them enjoyed the most is the fact that we did it together as a group activity. Thanks for the coloring pages, we had fun. I think these could be used in other ways as well, not just as camouflage.

These are great for the young and young at heart, my 9 year loved them. Even my 14 year old sat and colored with us.

I’m planning to use these today as an art project for my kids. My oldest daughter is going to create designs in each section, rather than a solid color while my younger ones will stick with solid colors. I love that these have a lot of diverse uses. Thanks for creating them!
